Sharing this, it came to my attention because it was posted on a friend’s Facebook profile. I had come across Karl Popper’s ideas as a philosopher of science when studying modules on science and society, and science education a while ago. I wasn’t aware of his ‘paradox of tolerance’ idea.
Karl Popper’s argument should make us realise that democracy, messy and imperfect as it is needs to be defended. Not only defended but enhanced.
